128 channel capability
All 40 simplex CB channels plus 8 repeater channels are available. In addition, 80 private channels are available for programming of extra commercial channels within the 450 to 480MHz range.
Dust-proof and waterresistant construction equivalent to IP54
The IC-41S CB Radio is water-resistant and has dust-proof construction equivalent to IP54, which enables operation in areas demanding high quality handheld radios.
Unique repeater scan
Our unique repeater scan function finds available repeater stations even while you are travelling. In addition, Group/Priority scan detects tagged channels, while also monitoring your priority channel.
Silent stand-by
Listen only to your own group! Up to 51 CTCSS and 104 DTCS user selectable group codes are available for silent stand-by operation.
Hi capacity (13.5 hrs) Li-Ion battery pack and charger as standard
A Lithium-Ion battery pack (BP-232N) and battery charger (BC-160) are supplied as standard. The large capacity 2000mAh Lithium-Ion battery pack provides 13.5 hours of operating time. (Typical operation Tx:Rx:Stand-by=5:5:90, power save on.)
SelCall (Selective Calling)
Hear only the calls intended for you and see who called with SelCall! The IC-41S comes with TP40 and TP100 Selcall formats, along with user selectable ID number set up.
Other outstanding features
• Smart Ring and Automatic Transponder acknowledges if other Icom CB transceivers received your call or are within range • Pocket beep function audibly alerts when you receive signals from specified stations. • Repeater lock-out function • 3-type LCD backlight setting • Power save function • Radio stun function
• Low battery indicator and alert tone • Auto power off function • Monitor function • Time-out timer • PTT hold function • Key lock function • Auto power off • RX frequency setting • Roger beep • Adjustable squelch level
